Data Engineer — Fuel AI-Driven Learning with Clean, Scalable Data Pipelines 📊📚

As a Data Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our data infrastructure—designing pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve critical learning and user data to our AI systems, dashboards, and product features.
🛠 What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data
- Develop reliable data ingestion workflows using tools like Airflow
- Design and manage data models and schemas across PostgreSQL, S3, and other stores
- Work with AI engineers and analysts to deliver clean, well-documented datasets
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across systems
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience as a data engineer or backend engineer with data-intensive systems
- Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills
- Experience with data workflow tools like Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, data lakes, and cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3)
- Strong understanding of data normalization, versioning, and lineage
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
💡 Bonus Points
- Experience with real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Knowledge of machine learning data prep and feature engineering
- Familiarity with dbt or data catalog tools
- Background in edtech, adaptive learning, or analytics
